Angelus Errare and Cheyenne Bands Find a Release

Like the pounding beats echoing in the streets, our CD Release show was an absolute blast. We were fortunate enough to have many amazing friends show up, sweat and sing with all the bands at the show.

The quiet night quickly transitioned into a sonic delight as Our Own Legacy kicked their high energy music into gear. Everyone appreciated their melodic hardcore and driving punk. They gave an intense emotional performance. Even City Councilman Rich Johnson enjoyed their personal take on dealing with real struggles in everyday life.

Although their set didn’t go off without a hitch, the band held it together and gave a masterclass on how to perform when equipment doesn’t work with you. They made it work for them. It was absolutely fantastic.

Red Painted Black then followed with their own solid performance. The crowd loved their singalongs and blend of driving rock and beautifully composed songs. They pulled off a fantastic set and kept the party rolling. In fact a Cheyenne legend, Gina Vamp, showed up and gave her support.

By the time Angelus Errare hit, we were pumped to deliver our own high energy mix of synthy punk. It had all the usual pogos and flash. Check out the new CD with links on the music page

As a fan of the bands, I couldn’t have been more delighted. This was a fantastic classic punk show at Ernie November. Although initially, I wanted to have a few of our favorites we play with on the bill, I decided to go with two hardworking bands we had never played with. This was the first step for me to get to know these bands and attempt to strengthen the punk community.

Personally, I was extremely gracious to have had the opportunity to play with my friends and share these songs we worked so hard on. They represent us at our best. Most people will not know the joy of playing an instrument with your two best men from your wedding and your wife and seeing your life long friends support you in the audience. It is truly an amazing feeling. Gratitude and presence are so powerful.

Well, get your tickets to the next one at the Gryphon with Teenage Bottlerocket, Authority Zero and Spangler Mar 29, 2024.
